Stressing please help

Just been to the bodyshop to see how my car was getting on and they have stonechip the underside and arches without seam sealing. Is this a problem can i leave it without or seam seal over the top of the stonechip?

dont seal over stone chip.

and tbh, mk1's didnt have alot of seam sealer like in the inner wings. and mk2's did, and mk2's rot worse there!

Yeah the thicker the covering sealant, the more protection you may have - but the later you will find out about it if rust is lurking underneath.

Could always spray on another layer or two of stone chip in notorious rust spots if you wanted to.

id be more worried if they etch primed any bare metal before stonechipping, i didnt :( big mistake,
