Sturbo guages

My gf has a starlet turbo and wants me to fit some guages for her, I know I should ask on a starlet forum but thought I'd ask here first

boost guage is easy enough but for oil pressure water temp and revs how do these get done?

I'm guessing she needs a sandwich filter thing for the oil pressure/temp what about the rest

for oil pressure you should be able to replace the oil pressure light sensor with a twin oil pressure light/oil pressure gauge switch - similar to some vx's - if not you can get an adaptor to allow you to fit 2 senders

for rev counter there will be a pulsed feed from the coil - a quick ask on a forum will tell you the right colour - its the green wire on vauxhalls

Water temp, i'd be surprised if there wasnt the facility on some models in the range to have a water temp sensor, if there isnt you'll have to see if theres enough material near the thermostat to tap it for a sensor, or you'll need to get an inline pipe with a hole tapped for the sensor (like below) that will need to go in the top hose, the only problem being it will only read true once the thermostat has opened!

it all depends if they are factory gauges or aftermarket ones.

Be interested on how you get on with the oil pressure one. I've got a double gauge pod in my celica with boost and oil pressure, and at the mo I don't bother with the oil pressure one lol
