Has anyone bought from Beevers etc an aftermarket front or rear bumper?

I am after a 'skinny' mark one bumper and the prices are a bit nuts!

Are they good copies?

Anyone bought one - and/or suggest the best (or cheapest) place to get one?

there's a mk1 bumper on ebay (no grille)
brand new after market one

is beevers better?

i know it not quite the same but i had a mk7 ford fiesta front bumper
of them and it was spot on,

Yeah - I saw that one. I was quoted £82 +VAT from somewhere and nearly dropped my phone! lol

Thats gotta be more than a GM one would be!?

An early mark 1 saloon bumper is different from the mark 1.5 Novas with the seperate grill/bumper.

The saloon one is completely flat wheras the later one has a recess for the grill, as far as I know Beevers don't do the earlier saloon type.

Shaun O'Donnell used a Beevers copy on his saloon if I remember right though.

Yeah I know that too mate - there is a later one on mine at the mo and I cant really notice it, so dont mind which one I get! lol

I went to beevers the other day to collect a couple of parts,
the man who run's it has reopened beevers and bought all there old stock
(as he called it a "load of c!@p") and moved units new postcode S72 8PH.


Anyway i asked him if any of his old Stock was nova parts???????
he had an o/s/f mk1 head lamp, rear standard mk1 rear bumper
and he allso said he had a FRONT STANDARD MK1 SKINNY FRONT BUMPER!

maybe worth a call????????? may get it cheap?

The GTE Bumper i had may have been a aftermarket one, it had all the GM numbers and such though, was a good copy if it was one.

i bought one from germany just to make shure it was correct colour ect but im shure the beevers ones will be ok!! they are expensive though lol although my new sr bumper was like £200 since it ws gm
