Well the Corrado 16v is up for sells, Sold the 2.3 V5 Golf estate
so i'm sat around bored just Waiting on my nova weekend Toy to be ready for collection (counting down the days)

The Mk2 GTi is great but I cant help but having the need and wanting something to pin me in the back of my seat again...

I decided to buy this as a "toy" for the time being!

Will probably end up using it as a daily selling the Mk2 and having the Nova as a toy. But who knows! Might have the G60's finished by then!

Now i know it's VAG but the noise!! :thumb:

You can just make out Warrington Engine centre in the back and thats where my unit is, and I'm not really interested in being part of a love triangle, I'm no good at lying and tbh your not my type of woman lol

You wont learn anything or make any friends on them anyways.

I hope the Mk3 is better than mine was Tom. Dragon Green? Love it or hate it?

'Rado is pretty neat though. :thumb:

Don't get me wrong the VR will shift, 2.0 Nova power to weight will d1ck allover a VR.

They put out around 200bhp give or take 5bhp either way but!

They are...
a. Heavy
b. Not Geared for racing
and finally c. HEAVY!

Great on Motorways and for top speed (naughty side of 150 in comfort)

To be honest it's a purchase based on Noise and the fact I have the G60 for Stupidity speed and the Nova for hammering down B roads chasing the wife! This is more a sporty dog mover.... lol

Repola for the truth! Everything I know i've done the hard way and learnt!

VW forums are W*NK the people are W*NK the scene is W*NK

I hate Mk3's this will be my second. No doubt this one will kick me in the hairy swingers too! But I want a VR I hate the VR engine in a Corrado and I can't find a nice R32 so this will have to do for now.

God no 4Mo is Mk4 specific. Unless it's an uber rare VR6 Syncro!

Hmm... never really seen the fascination with the VR6 engine sound. I reckon my B308i sounds better

Vr6's do boom a bit more than the GM offerings, but I've been in a few Vauxhalls & they kill VW & FORD offerings top end. That's all that matters.

There mental turbo'd lad i know down south did it to his corrado but ran it as a 3.0 with worsener (sp) Pistons and was bordering 400bhp!

I dont disagree, but 170mph would mean it revs to 8500 ish rpm???

Long geared like the Vauxhall ones then, furry muff.
It always makes me laugh when 'some' people just pluck new top speeds from thin air after a bit of tuning work.

It was on the limiter in fifth (didn't note what it was set to) and I was fearing for my life hearing the wind through the doors at the top and the schmidts (sp) catching the rear arches, I did see the speedo needle at about seven o'clock and lol'd, the car was a purple highline feature in VW golf mag and is on the awesome site on the rollers

That comment wasnt aimed at you Graeme.
Sounds like a weapon infact. There was that vid Martin Kelson threw up when he took his Nova out to a RR day when he finished the TB's.. Pretty sure his mate had a blown VR & he added a little Youtube clip, it sounded pretty awesome.
