I only want it as abit fun and retro, got rally car for speed and van for day to day.

the driver and drivers side rear door skins are rotten on bottom and front of passanger wing. But has mot till November.
No, it has 2 too many doors
itss a last of the line ltd edition. if i wasnt short of space id have it for a daily.
Buy it and then decide what to do with it, doubt you'd lose much on one of these.

I got space. Just don't want to lose money. Limited edition? Is 400 a bargain or about right?
400 is good if its got mot. check the battery tray behind the battery and under the washer bottle too. or look at bmw156's thread. its only going to go up in value tbh. get it, slam it hard and fit some 13 inch wellers.
Buy it get a 12 month ticket and some tax and ill give you £700 lol
Any tax? or are you able to tax?

It's got no rot on battery tray. If you look in one pic you can see I've took battery off :) I think il get it just for the retro and bit drift. A friends got a rotten manta gte only wants 100 or sumit. There could be the next power plant :)
Yet to see one of these with a LET in it, but it and start a trend lol

won't be able to through money at it :( I'm doing a rally basically every other weekend at the moment so will strugle to scrape 400 to get it never mind anything else. Maybe lower it but that be it for now lol
been done many many times /\
rotten manta for bits is a decent idea but you will need kadett gt/e parts for the swap. they are gold plated rocking hose shiote. go find a manual 2.0 carlton manual or a 2.0 omega and use that. or weld teh diff up, tune the 1256 and lol all day.

I was thinking about welding the diff. As I only want it for drifting on some back lanes and few skids. What's it like to drive normally with welded diff. And would it work if I didn't tune the engine?
yeah, just be aware going round any corner will be amusing, and it will work with a std motor just give it bootfulls of oppo lock and throttle.
for that sum, you'd be a madman to turn that down, let me buy it! go nice in my collection lol

I am tempted to do that. If I was just driving it on main road at 60 what would it be like? Dangerous? Remember going in a banged out mk2 with welded diff, but he was flat out everywhere :s does it make car understeer unless u get it sideways?

You can only use an A frame for recovery, (Rings police)
Just about to overtake you as you get pulled over, and seal the deal with benlol

You wont lose anything mate, well you could but i doubt you would!! Could be nice for a bit of back lane fun. Driving a welded diff all the time could be intrested though.....
drives via mates house ... picks up trailer.... pedal to the metal..... fills in log book lol
deffo buy it.
i dont see many panels about though, doors etc.
but you will get your money back all day long.
IMO they are starting to rise in price now. so grab it and hold it.
anything RWD is rising in price.
Do you want it?
If yes buy it.
If not then dont!
