My Friend recently wrapped the bonnet of his white mk4 coupe in 3M Di-NOC Carbon film and had some left over.
He also had an old nova bonnet in his garden so we filled the dents and spent a while on sat night wrapping it and finally got it bolted on the car at 12.30am:roll: although I must say its very good stuff to work with and you can really pull it about and re work it.:)
Anyway heres some pics sorry again about the state of the car I just never have enough time to clean it properly.
So what do you all reckon honestly? Any comments welcome.
And dont worry I still have the green bonnet on standby:thumb:

I love the look of the matt carbon. But don't think it works with the green on yours. If it was black maybe.

Nice job,:thumb: but its a shame stick on carbon stuff body panels is worse than stick on bonnet vents!:(

lol there has been some pics of it on here before like when I fitted the plough.
I also had a quick word with you at pv about it and yours I was the one who said my bird hates the colour but I love it:d

I did think it didnt suit the green when I first fitted it but it has grown on me but it cost me very little to do consdering how much the film is usually so thought id give it ago.

Thanks for all the comments so far keep them coming:thumb:

arhh lol i remember speaking to someone who said they had one the same colour.

I was expecting that you bought Gunnys old saloon not a hatch :)

Looks good ive got plans for a carbon bonnet in the future.

At the end of the day its your car do what you like :thumb:

Up close the bonnet itself looks OK, but I agree it doesnt go with the leaf green & from a distance it's just the usual matt black bonnet craze which I can't dig at all I'm afraid.

So to summarise. I think it looks to$$.

Could you put a layer of clear coat over that?

Would look much better with a glossy Finnish IMO.

so apart from £500 and some clear coat..... theres not much in it apart from saving the weight of a couple of good curries

That bonnet on NitrousNova's car at billing was very nice, I couldn't stop looking at it, I didn't realise you could mount them with all the original hardware, shame it had been cut out to clear the cam belt cover
