ive tried searching on here,but comes up with loads of pages,aint got the time to keep faffing about,ive painted my tank with hammerite but its reacted,in some places,is there another paint i could use,so it done react,wanna get the tank fitted the weekend

If its reacted, its reacted for a reason, wasnt cleaned well enough or had something spilt/was damp.

Only thing you can really do is sand it back, clean it well and redo it.

i used a wire wheel on the grinder,took it right down till it was silver,washed it down the wiped it over with thinners aswell,its only reacted in a few places,will try again

best thing you can do really, just try it again in those areas.

on the outside of the tank, pretty well any paint will do. but rubbing it down & re-priming then top coating is a pain, because of the silly shape & the nooks & crannies.

get it shop blasted and get powder coated mine cost about £20 to get done :)
