corsa 1.4 16v sport on a r plate the problem ive got is the clutch, you have to deck it out to the floor to get it in gear and the biting point its about 1/2" off the the floor! apparently its a new clutch. but ive never driven anything with such a low biting point hill starts are impossible or sitting on the clutch at lights with out stalling it. any ideas whats up with it ? or how can adjust it ?

adjust the clutch cable on the gearbox to see if it helps.
Engine bay, find the clutch cable on top of the gearbox, big block thing you turn in (towards the back of the car) to adjust the clutch.

ive checked the cable an there seems to be enuf play in the cable and if i adjust it in any more it wont get any gears am at a loss with it !
You dont want any play really, you want to screw it in, if your not getting any gears after adjusting it, your doing it the wrong way.
