Going to view a 40k one owner minter tommorow night.

Its in brown:d With yellowy interior:d

Its "Mint" so my mate says, but I will decide this:cool:

Where do they rust?

Anything to look out for?

Any arch bodges etc?


And Its either this, or drive my mint nova, but I dont want to put miles on herlol

they rot everywhere, worse than Novas so check all over if you can.

1st time ive heard that.

Its alright though, as I have lots to show for not being able to drive;)

And I get free lifts to work, so its a WIN WIN situation:d

well i got mine with 26k on the clock and it was rottern

under the washer bottle
under one wing at the bottom
and right at the top of the wing near the bulkhead, where the water runs when it rains.

rear arches have started to go

Gareth_C had one of these (which I drove back from liverpool and the head gasket went making me miss work lol ) the bonnet was bubbling the slam panel was rotten wings and arches were rusty but underneath was perfect surprisingly.

If you don't get it let me know how much it's going for and contact info. Been looking at a friend one but it's 5 door. Only done around 12,000 miles or something. 1300 and he wants 500 for it :s

Oh haha been thinking about getting one. What would insurance be like? I guess you could get classic car insurance? I only want it so I stop getting my drift fix from the transit lol

lol 1.2S.. 44hp iirc.

front chassis legs, and where you place the jack under the door.. they love to rot there.
A pillar, also a great place to have a poke...

drift??? drift??? you could stall one going up a drop kerb..... they have no power
never guna get wild drift but when I go out in the rally car for a play it's just for some drift and thats a 1300 fwdnova :) just need a wet day and a good set up befor the corner ;)
