My gear linkage keeps popping off at the nylon bush

Anyone have a fix fit it as vauxhall only sell the whole linkage

my god your vauxhall has the linkage, mine dont even have nova on the system anymore, lucky you lol

i had the same problem i just got a cup out of another linkage and put it on cant see it lasting forever but im goin to go with the rose jointed effort soon anyway theres a good tutorial on here showing you how

Yeah I've seen the tutorial might do it in the future but mr mot is in 3 weeks and need to try n sort it

i had the same problem but a little worse as i couldnt even get it into gear:tard: and i done the same i just got a cup from a different linkage and has worked a treat so i would give it a shot mate.:thumb:

Try it buddy, or, if your brave, get a mk1 astra linkage, and "skim" the ball down.

It fits, with about 1mm taken off the diameter.

wow, thats amazing cos both the mk1 astras i had simply had straight rods from the gearstick to the shifter box.............

Cable ties and/or lockwire.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I managed to temp fix it by taping the ball with electrical tape by a couple layers and it's working perfect

it shall do untill I get another good bush
