paint problem????????

i have a red nova with the new shape spoiler and the spoiler has faded very badly. but the rest of the paint work on the the car is fine, y is this???????????????

sun seems 2 fade plastic items faster than metal so things like spoilers,mirrors etc fade fast,try using t-cut or autoglyms paint restorer then polish it with a good quality polish such as autoglym resin polish hope this helps...

My car was the opposite way around, the car is a Sri and the spoiler did not fard but the body work did fade. I put this down to the fact my spoiler was lackered and the body was not.

This is common with red paint, usually on fords. The section that has faded has probably been re-sprayed with a celulose paint which seems to fade in red for some reason? The rule is to use two pack paint on red cars.
