This came up the other day. I'm convinced there is only one size.

I did a fr wheel bearing on mine the other week, waltzed into the factors asked for a Nova fr bearing, told him they are all the same in the same breath & was handed the item. Went home & fitted it. No worries.

you want 64mm mate just checked the dimensions in the back of the qh book.

corsa's run a 66mm bearing.

They arent Nova trivia obsessed homo's like 90% of this forum's members either. Theres no prize for selling parts without checking in the relevant books.

craig. i was a parts man for 8 years. knowledge is everything in the parts game. me & my old boss would root thru old parts books looking for old numbers that had superceded & buy up the old stock cheap.... other dealers could never work out how we could get the stuff so cheap.... the computer age has shut a lot of peoples learning down..... if the computer says no, then no is the answer

Nothing I dont know there tbh, but still I wouldnt give my parts guy jip just cos he doesnt know what I'm after.

I can usually spin them out when I ask for a set of rear disc pads (they know I'm a Nova freak) then mention Astra GTE & then a gasket for a Corsa GSi.....

My boss has owned his factors for 20+ years and before that he worked there for his dad. His knowledge of car part numbers is unreal. I allways take the piss saying he should be on mastermind specialist subject obsolete car parts from the 80's. We deal with alot of garages and alot of them use us not cuz were cheaper but because it's going to be right 1st time round. Some old boy came in for points for a cortina the other day n he just told me the part number of top of his head before I had chance to check the book. Ha ha.
