after fixing my running problems with my car it wont turn off now when i remove the keys lol
its done it before but fixed its self straight away, anyone had this problem before? i havent touched any wiring at all

mine did this when the back of the clocks was shorting out slightly

Yeh the back of the clocks for me aswell, bloody thing drove me nuts. usually the one going the battery warning light, that or its the diode in the alternator not turning off,(so new alternator) or the ignition switch is a bit naff. usually one of thoose three.
as already said check the wiring on the back of the clocks, happened to me and took hours to find the problem lol

leave in gear & stall it (temp fix).

i like the stall fix!
if not clock check the ignition switch on the end of the barral for wear
My GSi is doing this when the hazard light switch is in place.
Have tried different switches that are working fine in other cars, but it's still doing it. Works fine when the switch is removed though.
Also the indicators don't flash, just stay on, anyone any ideas?

had this a few times it was the pcb board behind the clocks.:thumb:

It's the clocks they shorted the other day and my temp and volt guage stopped working
New clocks will be here this week

no need for new ones just insulate the copper tracks so they bont short out.
But the guages are fecked now anyway
