I want change my front pads on my 1.2 what size is the allen key to undo the calipers?

if youve got a mk1 (or early mk2) nova then the brake pads are held in with pins. an 8mm drift from the inside to the out side will get them out.

if you have ATE calipers (4 bolts) then to get the pads out you need a 7mm hex driver.


the main bolts are the same on both types, they are 10mm allan

u dont need to take off the callipers m8, you ned to knock the little pins out that keep the calipers in place if you have tje old style, of just remove 1/2 the caliper if u have the new style as already said.
if u wanna remove the caliper though u will need more than an allen key, get a proper wrench atachment from halfords
