I think the aero catches stand out to much for me and are to big.

That isn't worth 5p..A screwdriver with a bit of force is all it needs to pop the locks.

But the point is your less than average joe sees a lock at least, you can probably open 95% of bonnets by finding the cable from underneath and yanking it, but how many do you see that have been opened by chavs walking down the road?

'Finding' and pulling the bonnet cable is not an easy or quick option, the lock on aerocatches is a 2 second and your in thing, quite different...If you need to stop someone getting under your bonnet, don't use pins. ;)

I kind of agree. For example on that white Nova in the pic they stand out, but if they were colour coded which is a bit poofy maybe (& not really the point) they dont stand out half as much, much like the std style pins are pretty subtle on Dans white car.
I would definately avoid anything anodised in Blue or Red.. eurgh.
