After opinions of fake aftermarket wheels really, i have never had any. The 2-3 sets im looking for are mega mega bucks but looking round can get some copies for less than half price,

Any horror stories or sposotives from people?

Replicas?

BBS LM's are an extortionate price, so replicas are the way forward for most folk.

I've never heard any horror stories, however China will produce anything at any cost, so you could end up with a stonking set of 4 paper weights after they nearly killed you.

what Craig said, you give china schematics, they make it, hell, you could send the new eminem album over and they'll give you 1M copies

replica's can be good, replica's can also be bad!

agree depends on what reps. Rots are ''fakes'' but pretty good I have rays volk racing splits which are genuine but tbh ive owned better/stronger and much wheels that were much cheaper ''fakes'' then them

Snow flakes for me but can't imagine them being comfortable, having to run them at 50 psi or they'll crack

Assuming its for your Vectra, i'd go for the BBS reps. TBH, there seems to be a few reps out there. The Lambo wheels look quite good.

lol they got the wheels i want but how do you get the prices or to add them to your basket? Its possibly the worst website designed to buy things!

Id be rather wary of replica wheels Ben to be honest..... Ive seen many of them that have simply broken in half from light impacts or just left the middle section of the wheel bolted to the hub etc! Although they are a lot cheaper the build quality/materials used are never the same hence the price difference in the first place. But Im sure in your line of work you'll have seen just that before.

Nick.

i found that its worth NEVER repairing replica alloys, ive had 2 sets of RS4 copies and now a new set of R32 replicas, TBH they are ok but can bend quite easily, i am quite hard on my car and the wheels suffer, in 6 years ive never had to replace a tyre due to it wearing out!! i usually right the wheels off before the tyres wear out.

in england or are you in belgium?

my mate had a set of the bb5 le mans on his astra mk3 16v, he drove it like he stole it for 2 years, and the wheels where perfect.

the bb5 is good, the HIJOIN are the bad chinese ones.
