IMO the standard one looks alot smarter. the red is way to much on the second pic :)
that red shizzle looks a right mess
The red ones looks awful because the owner has wrapped the electrical wiring in that crappy corrugated flexy shlt!
And why has he put tin-foil around the induction pipe
god the more i look at that the more i want to chuck up lol
Oh dear i was thinking about red hoses...
black it is then! lol

Got well piss off with it in the end, always something going wrong with it.
2.2 airbox mod is the best thing to do on them, I could feel the difference straight away.

But by the looks of his air filter is in the inner wing, so surely that must get more cold air than normal...

Yeh But any heat from the engine bay will heat the plastic pipe which in turn heats the air inside it.....:thumb:

Flat black everything. Coloured hoses are so last decade.
Subtlety is the key IMO.

That depend what you want though Craig, as i want leary in your face on the track bay, but would have black (or Samco Classics, if they weren't stupidly priced that is) on the MK1. :thumb:

I agree black ftw on any mk1 minter,
I ended up paying £180 for a full set of black Samco's for my Sport.
Do they come in mustard yellow? lol
