20xe distributor questions

hi im running a 20xe in my nova with webers i bought a cavalier dizzy set up of a guy on here it was all working well then took it for a test run last night before its mot and the dizzy packed in (sods law) just that this dizzy looks to have been modified to some extent i thought the early 1.6 cavvy dizzys were a straight bolt on also i have seen some with vacuum advance on them are these ok to use or do i want to avoid these :thumb:

are you sure its the dizzy and not the amp modual thing

there usualy the weak point i went through about 3 on mine in 4 years

and the 1.6 cavy mk2 dizzy is a straight fit

it appears to have blanking plates fitted over 2 holes its defo the dizzy as its the hall sensor trigger that has eaten through the wires i would repair them but the trigger is seized on
