Not the best offering from him, 'best' tracks are the singles.

Like when a 'Volcano meets a tornado'? His writing skills are somewhat below par this time round

His new stuff is ****, me and Gareth went to get some stuff a while back and he was loving it, its nothing like his old stuff when he was singing about death, murder, killing, drugs and fun stuff like that.

Not too bad IMO

I'm looking forward to Dr Dre's Detox, out in October I think, Dre's third and final album.

Going by the last two will be awesome !

i always thought eminem was dr dre having some fun by employing a poor white boy to tell everyone how great dr dre was...... but he's made some coin out of it....

white rappers are, on the whole like dads dancing at weddings..... just not right

his new album is better than his last couple, but never beat his old stuff.

Eminems stuff never really impresses tbh. 1st album has some funny tracks, 2nd has a few good ones ('B*tch Please' with Xzibit & Snoop), Encore the 3rd again has some hilarious tracks amongst the turd, but no way will I be bothering with theis album.

I think he's great when he collaborates on other artists tracks though, when he gets 1 verse.

In my opinion Eminem is the best white rapper, well his early stuff was good I really don't like his new stuff.

Ignoring Vanilla ICE & any UK rappers (they don't count) what alternatives are there?

Drug ballad and guilty conscience are still good to listen too but all his new stuff sounds the same to me

House of pain, here's a list of the top 10 http://uk.askmen.com/top_10/dating/top-10-white-rappers_10.html

But in all honesty I cant name any more then Eminem and House of pain.

LOL. I've just burned Recovery onto CD-R for the car.

Yeah it's not as good as his previous offerings, but IMO it was still worth him coming back. There's only Em and Jay-Z worth listening to from the current crop of 'rappers' these days.

Ironically, he has one of the worst on this album (possibly my favourite track too) Fcukin Lil Wayne! lol

This has 3/4 good tracks and a good beat for the most part. If you listen to the lyrics that is...

Nice thread, I've been working my way through SS/MM ep's lately. Never went any newer though. Was nice to get back to them. Although I'm more one for the deeper/angry stuff rather than the kiddy rap he's unfortunately better known for!

he fell after the marshall mathers lp

His latest album is awesome.....in comparison to some of the others he's brought out!

His new stuff is alright, but his old stuff really was the best. Best rapper ever IMO, tupac close behind. The difference with Eminem is his raps are more like poetry, instead of the usual "HEY, im black, im rich and im better than you, i drive an awesome car" etc etc. Then heres an example of Eminem's... "When they know they're your heart, and you know you are their armour, and you would destroy anyone who would try to harm her"

Edit: The new album has got some amazing lyrics too - "Proof you knew id come out of this slum, rise from these ashes, come right back on their asses and go mike tyson on these b**tards". Still old stuff is better.

I know what your saying but not the best ever imo, Biggie and Nas are far better story tellers and they don't just talk about 40's, bitches, dubs and blunts

TS is a great track, lyrics are superb. Funny how someone making money from that 'business' can see it for what it is so well.

behind the Record Companies and the Art Business is an Elite of super-wealthy people, calling themselves the Illuminati, or "Moriah Conquering Wind", who use the Industry to distract and alter our minds with the purpose to fulfill their crimes against humanity.

I'm not really into hip-hop/R'n'B, i'm more of an 'indie' girl. But I do love Eminem and although his new album isn't as brilliant, I still think it's quite good.
