are my alessios speedlines?

Hi i see that lots of people talk about speedlines, my cat has alessio promotional wheels and are pretty cool but are they speedlines? also what are these wheels worth? I have attached a photo of the car

Your wheels may be made by the company Alessio, who make lots of different wheels, the 5 spoke wheels on my nova are made by speedline and are called Alessio 2, this wheel is very popular on novas.

So what is it that os so desirable with the speedlines?, or is it just an "in fashion" thing?

They look good lol, also it's a 16" wheel with a 49mm et so it a perfect fit, unlike many other wheels

thanks for the pic, now i see the difference. I am quite surprised at having a lwer suspension and 15" wheels (very small tyre wall) at just how comfortable the car still is, Many of my mates standard mosern cars have far harsher rides.

I smashed one of my cars a few years ago and it had steel wheels and although 3 tyres burst, only one wheel buckled.

You are lucky, Novas have a pretty harsh ride even on the std wobbly suspension (my B reg did anyway)

My 2 B regs were too, the dampers both front and back are oil filled, from april 85 they used far better gas filled shockers. I changed one of my b reg cars to this and it really makes the car more stable. Just take a set off a newer nova ( springs too)
