I have religiously slapped gallons of this on cars previously, but I have seen the light! I have come to the conclusion that it actually encourages rust, and hides it so you have no idea its there untill its quite bad.
Its such messy stuff, and removing it is a nightmare. I've given up trying to scrape it off, as it just ends up everywhere, and am now slowly wiping it off with the aid of white spirits, taking forever though.
From now on I'm just using lots of paint, and stone chip spray. Much cleaner, and easier to deal with.
