What's the difference between early badges and late badges?

I've got a brand new vauxhall badge here but it's smaller than the one on my Nova.

Early novas had a LARGE vauxhall wheras the later models have a SMALL vauxhall on them.

Here's a new Vauxhall one Matt, might be best to message the guy regarding width. CLICKY (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/vauxhall-genuine-nos-astra-nova-badge-/320561990484?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4aa2fbcb54)

Wrong 'U' on that by the looks of it. Should have a flat bottom iirc.

That's not a Nova one, not the early one anyway. The 'U' should be totally flat and wider with no curve at all. The part number ends 003 iirc. Later Mk2's may have had all sorts chucked on TBH, suppose it depended on parts availability

Yeh, I'm aware it's not an early one but it's not an early badge he's after.

It's smaller than the badge on my '87 Nova but going by what offplot has said, later ones should be smaller. In which case I thought this would suit what MB is after. I also reckon it's correct period for his car as the U is still flat.

I don't think there is a later badge as such, they did not change the 'NOVA' badge either. Can't remember seeing a later type Vauxhall one listed on EPC anyway. As I said, poss just raided the parts bin on later models.

I didn't think the badges changed either. You'd know better than me anyway fella!

The Part No. for it is: 90356094 if you fancy checking your EPC.

90138003 is the one and only listed on EPC for a Nova

90356094 is from a Calibra

OK, cheers for that. I don't even know where the hell I got it from, think it may have been the auto jumble at Billing last year :tard:
