Lights have mind of there own

Okay when the rain came the other day I thought it would be a good idea to turn my lights on, apperebtly not as my indicators don't flash with them on, and worse of all, now when I use my brake the lights go off! And my indicator come constantly on along with my rear fog!!
Car is a flair 1.2 carbed if it makes any difference?
I am guessing it's a dodgy earth somewhere but at work till half 10 tonight so not going to get chance to have a look at it, an it will be dark by the time I finish :cry:
if anyone has had this before or knows what direction to look in or what's in fault, please help us out, and I will rep you when I get home :thumb:

You sorted this yet?

Check the earth on the rear panel, and the one from the headlight wiring down the front. Just pray its not the one behind the dash.

Yer alex sorted it this morning before work, was the earth on the rear panel thank fook!!
