you need the contact plastic part from the back of the standard wheel iirc

As above, the horn contact ring from the std wheel unclips & goes onto your boss. Wire on your horn push & Robert is yer Dads brother. I used to have issues with my MOMO horn push earthing properly & used some tin foil.....

From the back of any 80's-90's non-airbag vauxhall steering wheel.

I can sell you one for a tenner.

The one wire attached to the ring is +ve (gets the +ve from the pin on the column touching it) and you just earth the second wire to anywhere on the boss/column. I think.

Checked you're getting 12v ok to the wheel? The wire connected to the pin on the column and that is touching the horn ring?

Fuse..? Its might have popped if you shorted out the wires. I managed it with a tiny bit of swarf on my old wheel!

there should be 2 wires coming up through the boss. if so connect the live to the connector on the horn and with mine i connected the earth to the metal bracket on the edge of the horn (the part that holds the horn to the centre of the wheel) and mine works fine with no problems.

Worst comes to worst you will have to find a push button switch and wire your horn in elsewhere, I have to do that to mine :/

i got 1 wire coming out of the boss the red one which is connected on the back of the horn push and then i tried to earth the other end to the bolt but doesnt work.

rite just checked on my wheel. On your second picture it shows 2 spade connectors at the side of the steering rack. There should be a wire coming from each of these. And what i would say is just try and connect them to the horn like i previously said and if it doesnt work try the wires the other way around.thats how mines done and havnt had any problems. Let me know how you get on.

do you know if your horn works ? did you have your ignition on when trying the horn ? the two wires only make a circuit up so if you join the wires up the horn should stay on .
