As above what do people do about bolting up the o/s one? as there's no room for a nut on the other side and the mount isn't threaded as the original ones are.

Grind the head of a a bolt down so its slimmer, then put it through from reverse & put a nut on the end....

i put a bolt through from the back of the solid mount then put it into place on the chassis leg and bolted it in the when putting in the engine just lined up the metal engine mount and put a nut on and ran it up, if that makes any sense

or bolt the mount onto the metal engine mount the fit the engine from below

No chance there isn't enough room, the mount it's self is virtually touching the leg. Just been reading Adam's wip and he had to drill a hole from the other side of the leg.

i drilled a hole approx 1 1/4", then used some tube to brace both bits of the chassis and welded it in. I then used a 12.9 tensile cap head M12 bolt

Even if you make your own you still have the same problem!

All done now!!!

Drilled the leg and welded a piece of tube in between the two skins and a piece of 2MM inside the wheel arch just to beef it up a little.

Thank f u c k thats over and done with.

I think mine are aswell. I thought i was going to struggle so fitted the mount and plate only to realise i could get a spanner between the bolt and chassis leg. WIN! lol
