You lot usually give absolute bollocks when asking questions, so lets see what you all think. :D

Evos finally been paid out, the car is unlisted and the repair/damage is very light.

I've been offered £3800, £4000, £4300 respectivly for it in the condition it is. I have fitted a new bumper which needs painting apart from that the damage is minute.

Im really stuck on what to do with the thing, I spent way too much time and effort on the bugger for it to warrent any further enjoyment, it stands me at about 8-9k inc buying the bugger so im in for a massive loss.

Yeah its fun, yeah it goes sideways and round in circles but i just cant be arsed with cars anymore. Which leaves me in a "well what the ****" do i do with it situation.

A few options would be to repair it and whack it in the trader for 5500 and get knocked down.

sell it as it stands for £4300

Bang it up as a track/project for £4750 with the bumper painted

Break it... The damage isnt bad enough to really warrent this at all.

or keep it and well urm spunk even more £££ into it and still not be happy with it lol get spunked on by the fuel fairy and continue to buy shares in Shell.

Any other options? Apart from the "get it stolen" "set fire to it" or " get mr coon back on the scene and do a proper job this time"

Its roadworthy now mate, Been driving for a day or two.

Its rolling with a yellow bumper, the bumper took the brunt nothing else was damaged bar some bent metal behind.

If you're done with it then it's a no brainer really.

Cut you losses. Sell as is for £4.3k or fix it and look for a bit more. Would painting the bumper and repairing the other light damage really be worthwhile for an extra couple hundred quid?

If you're sick of the car then no doubt the bumper will react etc just to be a cnut. lol

If the offer to buy as it stands is genuine then do it.

Spray it up and sell it on. If you've lost interest then there's no point ploughing money into it for no reason.

Is this now registered CATD then? You could always take it to Keighley Trade Centre, they'll buy anything!!! or you could even swap it for a another car that's been to the moon and back via Japan. lol

i just cant be arsed with cars anymore
I'm going to put that in your sig, the number of times you've said it lol

Send a few quid on the repair and sell for a better price IMO, assuming you can repair and sell for a better price than just selling now with the damage.

need to get a price and see how much the repairs/spraying would be, no point loosing more money for no gain, like you said do the option that leaves you better off win win

You'll either plough money into this and get bored, or sell and buy another car, plough money into that... and get bored.

So it doesn't really matter either way does it lol lol

well, Ive knocked the boot floor back and started on the lower rear quarter. it looks miles better, I've knocked the light back out so there is now a constant gap between rear quarter and light unit. Below the light is a small panel, which i need to push back out another 1mm for it to line up perfectly with the bumper line.

It needs a small repair which im going to have to fill and prime, back bumper needs painting and it'll all be back as it was. The bootlid gap has now been sorted as well. Its about 80% back to how it was, Its never going to be 100% but, once i re seam seal it and stone guard the floor underneath it will be back to how it was.

£4,300. Will hardly be worth the bother of painting etc for 400 quid, which you're just assuming / hoping it's worth
