I've owned my SX nearly 8 years now and after selling it, regretting it and getting it back, I've decided to gut it, and do a Mini Krobinson rebuild (but not as involved as his) but I'm unsure which way to finish it.

Its had a few different looks over the past 8 years but I dont know what I want to do. Heres a few pictures and a Poll to help decide. Suggestions and recomendations welcome.

Currently on 14" Steels:

No pics of the current interior but its black seats, rubbers, dash and plastics (need Black Door cards)

I dont know what direction to go with it so opinions please.

I would be inclined to keep it as it is, if its a 1.2?

Stripped out look is always tempting, especially if you have use of other cars for comfort driving. I'd keep the red body with grey bumpers look though, I like that a lot.

Its a 1.4 16v but whatever way its done, it'll be retaining its SX identity regardless of styling so it'll be staying red at least!

Yeah, it's subtle looking and goes with the bumpers, or put the side mouldings on and paint the bumpers and bottom half a dark metalic grey?

Dont think it'd work as the door vynal and window surrounds are satin black.

Stripped out sucks balls.

Track cars are stripped out. Road going cars there's no point.. The point it stripping out is for weight saving, it doesn't look cool!

Get some widen steels made up, lower it and make it look tidy.

Does it not look tidy? lol

I was thinking about a set of 14" wide Revolutions or similar, something dished, the rear arches are flaired and will take 205 tyres on a 7" Rim and et40 so clearance shouldn't be an issue.

Banded SR Steels would rock though.

I didn't say it did or didn't, i mean in general.

revs would look nice yes. 205 tyres? What are you a bus? 205 is way to big for a Nova.

I ran BSA Racing wheels, 7x16", et40 and 205s all round, the Comps ran 205s and so did the Speedos, took a little effort but it really made a difference when it came to take off and cornering. So much so the 175s on it at the minute look lost. lol
