its really buggin me i just got a quote for a 1.2 and it was £297 and i just put in my 1.0 and its £700? wtf lol

i can insure an mr2 2.0 16v for 400 lmfao

anyone know any good insurers gocompare just aint cutting it

the arcane workings of the insurance industry could fill the whole of the internet...... basically, loads of young lads buy 1.0 novas, and either crash them, or stick large undeclared engines in them & then crash them.... also loads of 1.0 novas have survived because it was the coffin dodgers cheap car so they don't get trashed, but have loads of low speed car park crashes, which also puts the premium up.....

whereas everyone knows the 1.2 is so nippy, that it keeps out of trouble.
