I bought this car at the begining of the year.I used it daily for 6months.

I tried to sell it and nobody wanted it. so i sold the engine and decided to restore it and fit a let.

the plan is to fit a standard or slightly modded let after i seam weld it and fit a strengthening kit.
im also going to blast the floor and powder coat all the running gear.
hopefully it will be at billing next year.

Iirc my E reg had the sort of smooth covered ones, the same as my GTE, the seats I have had the fluffy ones, but I can swap them for the gte ones.

What happened to your wheel centres?
I have just got a set of these wheels as i'd not seen them on a nova, till now, damn you! lol
Although it helps me know what they look like as mine are being refurbed and i had a crisis of confidence when i thought i'd spent a lot of money and they wouldn't look right.

i never got them with the wheels unfortunatly. i think the wheels look ok on nova's but i wont be needing them anymore as they wont fit with the breaks i will be fitting.

i got my crossmember sanded and painted with alu zinc and also the new front panel.

the driver side leg had a hole so i started to fit a new panel given to me by bazil.

i only managed to get the top part of the bulkhead back to bare metal. then i painted it with alu zink for now to keep the rust away.
i plan to paint the engine bay over chriatmas when im off for 2 weeks.

It makes a step in the new panel so it will slide under the quarter. It also prevents/helps blow thru when welding

mine was the same im still insured on my sr its been off the road easy over a year, 6 months its been sat with the paint like that. plus the weather is picking up............
