at the tractor dealership i worked in , the drinks machine sold cheap blackcurrant pop. i saw a mechanic swallow a whole cup of red diesel that he'd been using to lubricate some valves he'd been lapping in.

the worst thing about drinking diesel is the diesel fart the day after..

Would it be more shocking if i told you it was an un-raodworthy, home made bike engine converted grasstrack car, wtf they were both thinking i really dont know:eek:

Im not posting anymore details as the lads brother is on here and it wouldnt be in very good taste!

Dod
13-07-10, 08:59 PM
Fair play Spud but just so you know, if you read that link I posted, you'll know I understand where you're coming from.

Craig, you feel better for getting a pop now?

Spudly
13-07-10, 09:06 PM
Sorry Dod my comment wasnt meant to sound snotty but it does rather, thats not the intent and im guessing you will have known most/all of those involved as they were all local to you?

mowgli
13-07-10, 09:10 PM
dod, there is something about irish news that still amazes me. when they announce an accident like the link you posted, they always list the full names & home towns. that just doesn't happen on english news. i know that irish society is different to english, but over here, there is a few days gap to allow the formalities & families to be told.

Dod
13-07-10, 09:16 PM
No, it happens the following day over here, its more to notify people that may have known the person or persons involved.

Dont get me wrong, a crash of this cailbre isnt common, its the worst in Irish History. Its devistated the whole of the Inisowen area. Everyone in that area will have known someone killed in that crash, Spud I knew 3 of the lads.

I dont want to sound like its a competition or anything, just letting you know, you're not alone in being in a ****ed up state of thinking.

No it's not my intention. you seem well pi55y of late, it grates with me. I dont have an issue.

Aye i see your thinking Dod, like i said to my mate at work today, the lifestyle and hobby we all share its something that we will always have to deal with at some time or another as we all know people who constantly push too hard but most are lucky and get away with it, then every now and then, they dont

in any single district, every generation has a big car crash like this. 8 up in a passat must mean they were on their way to a party too. we've all done it. i got 11 into a nova 3dr hatch when i was 18, and still handbraked it into the pub car park...
