Hi
on a jolly from Retro Rides for some Nova specific info please :)

Just bought a stunning little Nova for my daughter and would like to fit a stereo of some sort but due to its clean originality I really do not want to cut anything!!
It is a 1984 pov spec 1.2 hatch.
1, how does the blanking plate jobbie come out of the stereo hole?
2, What size speakers fit the dash top and how do I get them fitted?

Have a couple of pics ;)

edit
can't post pics :(

If someone wants to post for me I can PM the urls :)

It just pops out but be really careful they're worth a few quid

10cm speakers fit but if it's the same as mine the vents are kinda blanked off, I think you might have to cut them

Just with a screw driver. I have my Headunit in my glovebox... it;s the only way to go and my speakers are hidden, you can't really tell I have any ICE

Carefully pull the stereo blank out, if it's brown it's worth £75ish

Oi !!, put it back in yer trousers ;);)

Cheers for the help and the welcomes :d

I reckon I will leave the pen tray alone at that price
Will have a poke about under the dash and see if I can get to the speaker holes, they won't show if I cut them, then I can put a HU in the glove box or somewhere, all she will want is an Ipod input

I could also do with a front bumper/grill or possibly just the badge but must be good :)
Found out today that my usual paint supplier can no longer support car colours in celly so no Carmine red touch up :(

lh speaker hole, remove glove boot. rh speaker hole, pop the fuse box out, remove the parcel shelf & you can get at it quite easily.

the radio blank is dead easy to remove. removing the heater fascia to get at the wiring, push the vents & you will see the screws. it is dead simple, don't let the radio blank thing worry you, the market for them is for about 48 in total, and most have them already, in brown
