I had a budget of £600 to get a small van on the road with a few mods to my taste. So i found a corsa van 1.4 8v spi locally with mot failure sheet for £175. Needs a new exhaust, rear brake loading sensor ceased,o/s spring broken and a couple of bulbs. Heres a quick picture of its current state!

Had a productive afternoon today, removed roof bars, changed the wheels, suspension, exhaust, trackrod ends, welded a patch on the n/s sill, removed tailgate badges, cleaned the rocker cover and changed the gasket and freed off the rear brake loading sensor.
Price brake down so far:
Van £175
Wheels £60.99 (good old ebay)
Spax 40mm springs £40 (local free ads)
Complete new exhaust including cat £98
Track rod ends £12.20
Rocker cover gasket £2.99
Total so far £389.18

Haven't updated for ages due a new job (£££££) family and holiday. Finally fitted the brakes and they've made a massive difference, had to move 1 of the weights as it just kissed the caliper. Won some bargings on ebay, £10.50p for 2 colour coded bumpers and 99p for some astra mk4 side repetors. Also got a free apline head unit and astra seats as payment for towing a mate.
