Before a rally I noticed my one full beam wasn't working. I checked the bulb and fuss's but all were fine. As a quick fix I sent a wire from the working side straight to the other side. To pass scrutenering.
Problem is this means my fullbeam isn't as bright. (unless it's something else again :s) why would just one fullbeam stop working? Any ideas :)

Everywhere I could get to was fine. To check I'd need to do a continuity check? From the wire at the headlight to . . . . ?
I'm no expert but I'd go for as far back as possable, open up the loom cover, find the write one and test it

Go from the side of the Headlight relay, to the Lamp connector ben.
Or, reloom it, but thats a tad extreme for one wire lol
like bazil says, trace the wire back from the light, and find voltage. the fuse holder could have gone. aren't you running high power bulbs??? maybe you need to be rewiring it with a fused relay straight from the battery.....

is it one wire to the stalk or one a side.
