Xe sump bolts - Are stainless ones upto the job?

Just off to get some new sump bolts and wondered are stainless ones up to the job? I know they are not as strong but wanted to know can they be tightened up enough to stop the typical xe/let sump gasket leak?

YEP should be fine just get the right length

m6 x 20 for the 8v baffle plate?

Yeah should be fine mate,as sais above just get them to the same length,to be honest whats the point of having stainless ones,you aint gonna see them

should be ok but remember that you need to slight longer by about 5mm for the oil pump area
x12 @ 20 / 25mm
x2 @ 25/ 30mm

I got mine off ebay for a few quid delivered, don't forget the washers too

Just been and got them 13 x m6x20, 3 x m6x25 and 16 standard washers all in stainless, (got a spare of each) and a small bottle of low strength threadlock all for a fiver, bargain imo

i never had the caps button on !!!!!!!!!!!!! but what he hell lol

Wont rust when they are covered in oil from the sump leak.... lol
