has any 1 fitted a let or xe in a kadett.. Lookin 2 change bk 2 rwd an fancey a retro kadett.. Any1 got any pics or info on doin so.. I kno i need manta box an axle for start...

Me and my mate did it a few yrs back, I'll post up more info later.

just the same as a kadette, only a kadette has a nicer front lol.
you dont have to have a manta axle, depends how good you are at welding etc, as you can make a ford english/atlas axle fit, and then use a type 9 gearbox and a conversion bellhousing.

Depends what power your going for, my mate darcy has built harvey (the blue ratish kadett)

Dean did most of the fab work on the kadett, and i built the motor.
Darcys runs ladder bar rear,4ha axle iirc, omega box with hydraulic realease bearing spaced off by about 20mm to get it to work.
1 thing i would say is, fit a larger tranny tunnel, darcy wantd to keep the stock one in his but its been bashed that much a bigger tunnel would be mch nice. Bt to be fair it goes like stink
