Can anyone tell me how these were wired in or where they opperated when you use the windscreen washers?.
Cheers
Richard
it appears that there was a special relay rigged up so it triggered the headlamp washers with the windscreen washer switch when the sidelights were on. it is in both the light blue & green haynes books

They do exist as they were fitted to my grandads old sr and feature in a old vauxhall brochure I got hold of the other day from 1983. It's just trying to find the kit!!
i've only seen the bumper bits for sale. baxter bought some at the vboa winter thingy, i guess a twin pump washer tank is needed too
i assume they are the same bits as astra mk1 gte's
awaits rich to post.......
^^ I'm sure Rich has a kit
... that he'll never use or sell

I used to think the amount of Nova stuff I have in my loft is a piss take, until I went in Rich's lol
I thought exactly the same, spent about an hour up there, i hope he never has a house fire or rare Nova parts prices are going to shoot up lol, if he'd sell the irmscher three piece spoiler, I'd buy a clean hatch just to put it on lol, I think there fantastic

I would wire them up to a 4 pin relay using the windscreen pump as a trigger
they need to trigger off the headlamps & washer pump.. or its just a waste of water. i presume the bottle gets mounted really low down, or it would syphon out.
