standard gsi 14'' rims with 2.0 brakes

hi im just wondering if there are any spacers that can be baught to fit the standard wheels over the 2.0 ltr 16v brakes ??

I've heard they don't fit, you have to bodge them by grinding the caliper... don't do it

oh rite, i swear me mate had them over his 2ltr calipers on his old sr but he bought it like that, and dont think he ever had the wheels of.

you have to use worn pads and tickle the calipers with the grinder but they go on. loads of people say oh dont do it blah blah blah, but i and others have never had a problem

lol so when you pads wear out you have to buy a second hand set every time. just use smaller brakes off corsa gsi, im sure they fit over them and there good brakes.

I ran cut calipers without issues.

I would recommend the Corsa/Astra/Tigra 256x20 brakes though. Not as wide, but just as good.

thanks for that , im tempted to put cav slab wheels on but cant seem to find any anywhere , do you know of anyone with some for sale ????
