Well a year or so later I finally managed to pull my finger out and get the TH's painted etc.
Let me know what you think...

Yeah it does fella, practically the same car! Plans are to have the whole car resprayed and an engine upgrade. Just waiting for the my old boys garage to be completed so I can move the Nova in and start tinkering!

Sounds good Matt :thumb: . I am planning on getting my car resprayed aswell and take away the side mouldings and the dodgey decals. Only an idea at min though.

im getting 8 wheels shot blasted soon £150:cry:
but its £45 per wheel to have them blasted and powder coated in white, although im painting them myself. so roughly 20 per wheel just to blast em

Good plans Matt, loved this at Billing last year, looked good nice and low on the mo's, wasn't a fan of it going back to standard, lets hope the next phase is the best yet

Matt i love the wheels ( i know it's how they were) but IMO the graphics look massive and in your face a bit too much for me anyway, but lovely all the same.
And i plead with you not to ruin the Ski too much, let it, Xe it, but dont rip it to bit's or take the exterior too much away from how it is, as it's ace to see the old ones about.

Scott, the graphics are cool! You need to see the wheels in the flesh though, I'm sure you'd agree they suit them if you saw them for real.
Don't worry about the Ski, exterior wise it won't differ from it's current state much atall. I aim to keep it all very period :thumb:

Ta Nick! I agree, on you're car the decals would be a no-go but I think they will go well with what I've got planned for the Nova. Won't be making Billing this weekend unfortunately! Gutted I won't get to see your SR and all the Sports but I'll make sure to be back in the Nova as soon as poss!

Yeah, they're not for some I guess but I think they make the wheels. The decals themselves are really well made and they transfer so it's only the letters that are sticky so they are all individual rather than it just being one big sticker if you get me? So they finish the wheels off nicely IMO. As said though, they won't suit all cars but should go nicely with the theme I've got planned.

If (very big if) i ever got another Nova, i'd be stealing them back off you, i had them on my black GSi for a l'al bit years ago, looked awesome, have to have a fit up on your bro's car if / whenever it gets finished !!

You'll have to get another Nova at some point and build a crazy engine for it! I think we all know his car is a lost cause, I'm gonna end up selling it all for him soon I reckon (whether he likes it or not), especially if he's thinking about fecking off back to NZ again!

Nice wheels there matey, i was just gonna say to paint the compomotive stamp on the facia red/black to give thenm abit of contrast and set them off, then i scrolled downlol
Could still consider it, detailing them further
