had to get some parts for the VW today (first ones since i bought it)

Rang the main dealer up and asked for a Cam Belt and a Cam Belt tensioner and an oil Filter- ?86!!!

Exactly the same parts from Europarts cost me ?26.58 pence.

They are the same manufacturer on all the parts!

Comming from someone that works in a VAG dealer that dont suprise me. It has been know for dealers to get gen parts from Eurocarparts and charge them out a full retail and make more money.

Still I get VAG parts at cost plus 5-10 %
