vin plates?

my mate has bought a mk2 nova sri

got all the logbook etc, its had a new slam panel by the previous owner but the vin plate wasnt put back on??

what happens now can you buy a vin ??

what the best way to sort this out :)

Someone on here told me of a place that makes vin plates, like for restoration etc, firstly check the engine number and chassis number on the log book match th car, then when you have the log book in your name find a place that'll do a vin plate,
