Just a quick one to to see if you guys have any suggestions; ive got a 4-1 Sportex on my 16SE GTE. just wondering how or what youve used to get the 4 nuts on the underside tightened? For me the heads are very close to the underside of the pipes, too close for a ratchet spanner and even getting up to them with an open ended one is tricky - plus i can only get a quarter turn if im lucky! any suggestions?

I used a plain old spanner, and a hell of a lot of time

Clean the threads before you put the fanimold on and then wind the nuts on a far as you can with youre fingers, then a spanner job to nip them up!:thumb:

I've used cap head bolts on these before, you can get an allen socket in to tigten it up. I've now got arp stainless studs on which have 10mm 12 point nuts which make life so much easier fitting and removing exhaust manifolds. I've also seem copper nut with 6pt 10mm fittings and they are pretty good too.
