wayne, if it passed an mot, however shonkily, the noisy pump would have made him look at it if it was a problem...

hes a good freind off my dads and we told him we had one on its way so i guess thats why he didnt say he did hear it thats why we told him.its not a bent test in the way that its a death trap just the decat was the only thing mate...i only put it due to me been happy and it not costing me more cash

1. an MOT fail is still an MOT fail, friend or not....
2. you have enough project pics on here for a complete stranger to identify your car, find the mot station & prosecute them, & you would have a car with no mot....
