Ste remember when u did the gearbox change on your J 1.2i (Blue) and u changed the final drive to 4:18:1 (is that right?), did u actually use an F13 close ratio box from a GTE/Gsi. Or did u use an F10 from an SR? Which is better, does it matter which one u use?
Also, i know when u did it, it made your car well fast. Did u actually have an adverse effects anywhere else on the car/engine when u fitted it?
Cheers mate. Detailed info would be good as i definately want to do this mod, the good thing being my best mates brother in law is a gearbox mechanic and he said he'll do it for free! and he said its not that hard either!!
