*calling all 2.0 16v nova owners* how much roughly would it all cost to do the conversion?
If doing it yourself ?1000 for everything needed including the engine, welding and painting.
If paying Courtenay to do it ?4500 :lol: :roll:

?1000 is nothing, never thought it would be that cheap.what about supspension and brakes?
Maybe buy some stiffer springs and Astra GTE 16v brakes are a straight swap and can be picked up for ?50.

and thats all i have to do? seam weld the engine bay, stiffen the sus, astra gte brakes, get engine mounts, is that everything?

I didn't fancy the job so got mine done at a Nova garage in Portsmouth and it cost ?1,200 all in

what exhaust can you use, and if you use a crap one to get it on the road how easy is it to change the manifold, or is it an engine out job
That was Engine, loom, ecu, manifold, gearbox, driveshafts, modded engine mounts etc, not brakes and suspension I got that separately. It took Monday-Friday in a week. It was ?500 for engine and ?700 fitting + bits.

*Benji - to change a manifold, you don't need to remove the engine.
