Some of mine on closer inspection have srtated to perish in areas not no mention the steel belts where they clamp on the seam have started to flake.
I could obviously go Vaux and try get some,if they are still serviced, although I have a feeling they won't be cheap or I could go for something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rubber-Car-Door-Boot-Black-Tube-Seal-Edge-Trim-metre-/190409758914?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c554e58c2
(I know this is an ebay link, wanted to give an example of what I was on about and eBay was the quickest)
Anyone tried stuff like this? Are they actually any good?

I could see that being good for a boot seal but not the doors, seals won't be at the right angle for the doors and will look ruff where it joins IMO.
Can't you just find some decent used ones ?

TBH I'd rather try buy new for peace of mind. Haven't really tired looking around just yet, wanted to see if anyone's had experience with this type of stuff.
I can see this being a bit awkward for door but that example is just to show what I was on about. I'd obviously find one's suitable for doors.
I managed to find some mint ones for my Sport recently, cheap as well.

He said cheap.
As for using the bay stuff. Put the join near the check strap to hide it.
There is a company near here that specialise in all variations of rubber trim & cushionings, if only I could remember their name.
Pretty sure they are based in Wellington, somerset.
When I asked at Vauxhall there was only one side avalible in black, bout £140 something iirc lol lol lol
I paid £20 for a pair from someone on here.

I fail to see how they are sided really, just fit it the other way around.......
£140 doesnt surprise me. I would believe if they were more tbh.
