alright folks. im going to be getting some work done to my nova soon, im set on a few things that im doing but cant decide what do do with the grill.

im wanting my bumpers, mirrors and side skirts done gloss black but i dont know if i should do the grill all gloss black or colour code the outside of it and leave the slats black.

also if anyone is good with photoshop could they give it a bash to help put my mind at rest.

thanks :thumb:

Mine used to be grey, but I wanted it to be slightly different and was always wondering what black looked like as I'd never seen an MK1 front in black. But seeing as the Nova had a lot of black exterior bits like wipers, window surrounds/rubber, mirror frames etc I had to try it.

I got it done and I really like it, I know some have mixed feelings but if it was rubbish I'd have stripped it and gone for good old mid grey.

I like yours as is but if you're looking for something different then try it. It's only paint at the end of the day and it can always be removed or stripped and done in a different colour.

My Nova just about to get finished off at the bodyshop:

Black would still look nice, just not gloss.

cheers for the comments folks an cheers for the pic.

i was thinkin bout keepin them as they are but they could do with a paint as the front bumper is starting to peel. and its all about being different in the car world.

how easy is it to fit a mk2 front end on a mk1?
