Anywhere from 204 stock, upto IIRC 900 is the most ever.
More than 300 in my opinion is too much in a nova.
The more bhp the better :d if you're wanting a good engine fully rebuild it, rebore block, fancy crank, new rods, pistons, bearings, skim head, port and polish head, new valves, uprated injectors, tubuler manifold, decent turbo, big intercooler (personal thing you either like big ones or hate them lol) and of course a good ecu with remap :thumb:
Nearly every high bhp nova owner says you should stick to phase 2 and over 300 bhp is a waste

no point in having 300bhp, as you just cant use it, in a FWD car lol
totally depends on what you want to use it for?
For everyday use Phase 2 is plenty.
If you want something a bit fruity and have a few££ have a look at Disco Inferno's build - 440+ at the fly!! ;)
Id only have 400bhp in a nova just so i can say "its 400bhp" lol

and lighten the bank account by over 10k in the process
absolutly overkill in a road car 300bhp is too much on the road, for a strip muncher then power is everything for the road something with a nice balance and usable power is best imo
i stick to standardish internals if ther ok with arp rod bolts and head studs steel head gasket hybrid turbo and phase 3 software with relevant i/c uprated actuator and fpr should give around 300bhp and not cost the earth
and the get an lcd and equal length shafts

Dont agree, mine was 330bhp & 331bb-ft and was awesome when you learnt how to drive it, after spending £££ getting it sorted, due to poor conversion by previous owner. Sometimes whish i'd never broke it for parts. Now have a corsa b c20let and am chasing my nova's old figures lol
