Iirc, if youre a contortionist you can pull the fusebox down out of the way to gain access to the drivers one from under the dash with your head in the footwell, and the other one is a glovebox out job, although its a pain to remove dash, its probably easier, and while youre there you can replace it with a muchly superior mk2 item and revel in your new found win :p

The speakers actually screw to the undeside of the dash they have two tabs that the speaker sits in at the bottom and two screws at the top iirc, theyre going to be a pain to refit bud, dash out really might be easier lol

If you've got the ghetto spec dash like mine with side vent blanking plates remove them, then also remove the dials. I've removed and refitted speakers loadsa times and never needed the dash out. The Passenger side is easiest.

I'd pesonally get some upgrades. Even £20 10cm 2ways will give an improvement over the 5 watt bad boys that was fitted as standard.

I have these

in the Volvo.

Decent power handling, fq response etc and best bit. £15 delivered. :)

10cm sh!t is never gonna set the world alight, but these sound good powered by my 4x60WRMS Alpine HU. Nice clarity and decent volume. Remind me of Infinity Kappa stuff. Budget win. Highly recommended for what they are. :thumb:
