when i start my redtop it knocks 4 10 seconds with the oil light and sometime when i am driving at 2000 rpm it taps but oil light dont come on can any1 help me please

I know this sounds obvious, but have you checked the oil level?

oil pump could need replacing

blocked pick up,no oil, chronic leak,shagged pump,blocked oilways,could be a few things tbh

with a knackered oil pump comes knackered shells & rings

it could be the relief valve stuck open..


when did you last change the oil?
