16inch, 7inch wide looks like et 40-45 on a very low Nova, will be running 195/45 tyres.. How much rubbing do you think there's gonna be?

Front i know it will touch the arch more as its an inch wider than the turbo rims..
I have a bit of clearance on the rear, but an extra inch wider and the lower et..

Err IIRC Benn ask Mike B GTE. He has Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's ET45 16x7'' wide lowered 80mm AFAIK.

I believe he has some rubbing issues but he can tell you how bad.

I'm interested in what wheels you want. Good chance they'll be special :)

soundsvery very familiar - although why use 45 series tyres??? use 40s and save a bit of room - although the answer to your question is 'a hell of a lot' the back is fine with rolled arches, but the front is very tight. depends how low 'very low' is, im down 95 and made it work.

I'm currently running 6.5J ET43. It rubbed slightly more on one tyre than the other. But I've had the arches pretty much rolled all the way up. Looking at wheels, probably a Vaux set, but I'm loving the Team Dynamics stuff. Just worried that they'll rub.

Doesn't look any worse than what i have now tbh...

arch lips need a fair bit of persuading, especially if you want to retain a degree of steering lock. 40 series rubber helps, so does a bit of -ve camber, the shocks are about 1mm off the inside of the rim also. Steering on gradients or uneven surfaces posed the biggest issue - but its not a difficult job to get that set up working.

I have 1/2 of the steering movement as is, and cant do more than a turn on a slope or anything. Clearance to the shock isn't top good tho.

i used to have 17s in a 45 ofset on a hatch with all arches roled on a 60mm drop and they were fine on the same set up previous to the 17s i had 15s both 7j with a 42 offset and the scrubbed like feck so depends on offset imo

it was the rears on mine that were the problem but with the 17s could take passangers in the rear and it didnt catch
